why is selling out even considered such a bad thing like i would gladly jump through a hoop or two for our corporate overlords if it means i get to eat this month
it’s because most people dont know what selling out is. Many people consider getting sponsers to be selling out but that’s not true. Selling out is when you’re sponsered by something you actually do not like. If you genuinely enjoy the product, like the grumps enjoy crunchy roll, it’s not actually selling out. But if, say markiplier, got a deal to sponser some shitty calogn that gives him rashes, then that would be selling out.
An infinite number of $1 bills and an infinite number of $20 bills would be worth the same
they’re actually worth nothing because you’ve devalued the currency so much
nothing is still the same as nothing
Fucker
But if you only place about 150 worth in a bank each week and never let anyone be onto you, the infinite bills will not cause deflation until years down the line. But who cares, you still have infinite so even if a loaf of bread costs 3k you can still afford it.
FRIENDLY REMINDER: You are allowed to feel proud of yourself for things that might seem silly to other people, like getting better at a video game or putting together a nice outfit for the next morning or finishing a book. You deserve to feel proud for your accomplishment.
if youre white you need to keep your eyes peeled for whitewashing at all hours. if the thought of reblogging something even crosses your mind and theres a character in it who canonically has bronze or dark skin or just. not fucken. pale skin, just take a damn second and review it. ‘does the character in question/every character here actually look like the people in canon, especially with regards to skin tone or nonwhite features’ just take a damn second ok
& white people watch your friends too for gods sakes and tell them when they fuck up. it shouldn’t be 100% brown + black emotional labor goin into destroying whitewashing otherwise youre complicit in it
white ppl please reblog this + hold ur white friends to these standards.
