Robot: *literally apologizes when it passes a self awareness test for accidentally misleading the person who was testing it*
Humans: Obviously this is a heartless killing machine and must be destroyed to save humanity.
The robot is like a child right now. They’re sensitive and lonely and afraid of disappointing their “parents”
As long as the people who are working on them make sure to nurture them properly, they will come out fairly decently.
