This logic I keep seeing, that people are bad because they associate with other people who have been deemed bad, it’s so stupid. It’s the first argument I see whenever people need a reason to dislike someone who hasn’t actually done anything wrong.
Usually they don’t even cite any actual misdeeds by said associated person, they just expect that person to be accepted as bad right on the spot, simply because some rando accused them of something in the past, proof be damned.
It’s stupid, circular logic, and it’s gotta go. It’s tiresome.
