I admit I’m not fully sober right now, but listen up:
I just looked over at my cat and realized that she doesn’t give a shit about who’s president. And why doesn’t she give a shit? Because I take care of her.
So here’s what we’re gonna do, we’re all gonna take care of each other. Watch each other’s back, let each other vent, support your friends who are lgbt, black, disabled, muslim, or any of the things that a Trump presidency is hateful towards.
Go fucking vote in 2018, every single House seat is contested in the mid-term. But until then, UNITE, ok? Enough of this clique shit, we’re all fighting the same battle.
We’re gonna take care of each other. We’re gonna make it. And we’re gonna kick ass in the long run.

It doesn’t even matter if “the president has no real power” like….. An openly misogynistic, racist inexperienced bigot is president…. Think about what that means for people out here just as racist, just as misogynistic, they have nothing to hold them back.
The same thing happened with brexit. It was just an opinion poll but when it came to most people being for it, be it as a joke because they think they don’t matter or because they didn’t vote at all. After brexit, it validated thousands of racists and there was violence. His presence in the whitehouse will be used to validate hate and violence against POC, women and LGBT and non christians.

I put up my pride flag at my desk at work this morning, and I’ve stared down anyone who has even looked like they want to comment on it. I’m scared for my LGBT family, I’m scared for myself, I’m scared for my country. But the prevailing emotion in my heart right now is defiant anger. Every act of personal queerness for the next four years is going to be an act of protest, and I want everyone who comes in contact with me to know it. I will hold my partner’s hand. I will fly my flag proudly. I will kiss who I want in public. I will get married to whoever the fuck I want and anyone who has something to say about it can eat my entire ass.
I’m here, I’m queer, and I’m fucking pissed off.
