For hundreds of thousands of years “mother earth” sent every horror under the sun against her human children. Plague, drought, famine, volcanic detonation, and destruction on an enormous scale decase after decade, century after century.
And you find fault with us?
A mother who tortured her children the way she’s tortured us isn’t fit to bear the title “mother”. A mother who feeds and then starves, a mother who gives birth and then slaughters…
That she should find our blade at her throat now should be a surprise to none involved. We owe her nothing, least of all the compassion she’s never shown us.

i honestly i wish i had seen this goddamn post when i was writing an essay in my psychology and nature class because this is a PERFECT reflection of so many things we talked about: the historical conflation of women with nature (which is subordinated to men and culture (even tho ALL humans are part of nature and trying to act otherwise is legit killing us and every other thing on this planet but thats a rant for another time)); the view that nature should be controlled as much as possible in order to make life better for (certain) humans (this goes all the way back to the foundation of the empirical method btw); this idea that we don’t owe nature anything even tho this planet literally gives us EVERYTHING we need like ya know food water shelter companionship; and a blatant hatred for the natural world because of cultural desires to be “better” than nature and thus feeling entitled to destroying it at our whim, conveniently ignoring the fact that whatever we do to the rest of nature eventually WILL come back to us. ALSO there are a shitload MORE natural disasters such as drought, famine, flooding, severe storms etc BECAUSE of global warming and our blatant disregard for our planet.
Something that’s also super interesting with regards to this is that in modern times, ecological problems impact women more than men. This is a fact. There was a tycoon (or some other storm cant remember rn for sure) in Bangladesh and 90 FUCKING PERCENT of the casualties were women. Why? Because women lived in the villages near the coast, and were there and not at work in the city. Because women had less access to transportation away from the storm because they had less money because the men control all the money. Because the women were supposed to stay back with the house. In addition, global warming affects women more severely. Why? Because in the places where global warming is currently affecting the most people (”developing” nations in the global south) women and girls are responsible for gathering water and food. global warming means they have to go farther and farther from home to do this, meaning that they don’t have the time to go to school or get a job, but boys and men are free from this duty.
and a final note: this coming from mr cappomisoynist does not surprise me AT ALL because he really does hate women this much

None of those “pranks” were remotely like the Joker? At all?
He could have stolen the mallet prop for Harley’s actress and left it on her work chair with a dozen roses wrapped in a whoopee cushion, and that would have been %300 more in character.
He could have dressed up (badly) as the director and sat in the director’s chair, claimed that the movie was now going to be all about him, and then gotten comically distraught when no one paid attention.
He could have, I don’t know, used actual humor while NOT LEGIT HARASSING HIS COWORKERS
If someone pulled that shit at ANY of the jobs I worked at, they would have been fired on the spot. But he claims that it’s method acting, and he gets away with it? Gross as hell.
