petstuck generally was just an au where trolls were kept as pets but then they became more defined by the fics Unwanted Free Ugly Troll and Loophole, which were dave/karkat and john/vriska respectively (not romance) and about how the Betty Crocker corporation was actually stunting the growth of trolls to keep them as pets so the company could continue profiting off of them. there was also a reversal of petstuck that was about the trolls raising human kids instead but that was less popular and idk if anyone will remember it. so mostly it was a pretty cute au that became utter sadstuck. Loophole can still make me cry, and, although the pics that were embedded in the fic don’t seem to work anymore, you can still google the pics that were made for the story.
