Dude theres like 700+ pokemon now. You think new players of any age can just hop in and instantly memorize every pokemon,their typing and all the convoluted type matchups? I think this is a great way to ease people in who dont instantly figure that punching a bird wouldnt be very effective

I thought for the longest time Ice type was effective against Water types, and as someone with a bad memory I’m NOT gonna remember the type advantages and weaknesses of every single pokemon. I love this new feature.
Oh no, such a terrible shame that a game made for children that most people started playing as children added a mechanic so that children can better understand the mechanics for this childrens game.
I’m pretty sure most fans would have killed to have this mechanic back in 2000

of course, the irony about this cartoon - which I assume is meant to demonstrate shallow selfie culture desecrating the great classics - is that among other things a) hamlet is a disaffected young man suffering from depression and, frankly, deeply self-absorbed and b) the entire play is obsessed with the idea of performance and performativity and so absolutely hamlet taking selfies would be in the spirit of the original because a selfie is a new way of constructing the self through images
so what I’m saying is: fuck off culture snobs I’m coming for you
