I am so infuritated right now. This is a huge deal. I don’t even think people realize how big of a situation this is because I’ve seen so many animation fans laugh this off but this is actually a confirmation of an incredibly corrupt and broken industry.
Like, the animation industry already has to deal with blacklisting and sexual harassment and toxic work culture. These artists have really shown that nothing has changed for the better. Chris Savino and John K. might be out, but the practices that protected them and kept them around for so long are still being put into practice.
Hannah Ayoubi is a storyboard artist formerly on Amphibia who drew and encouraged ship art of a minor and an adult on a children’s show.
Sofia E Alexander is an executive producer and showrunner for children’s shows explicitly threatened to blacklist anyone opposed or concerned over Hannah’s behavior. This is unacceptable.
Jessica A.M and Anna Lencioni vehemently defended them and didn’t think that pedophiliaic drawings are a big deal.
And you know what the worst part is? They’re all going to get away with it. They are going to go on their merry way and just pretend like their behavior is acceptable because they have connections. The system protects them.
They work on children’s shows when they SHOULD NOT BE. This is unprofessional and should be grounds for termination in any other industry, but apparently in the animation industry this shit makes you look cool or something??? Wtf
People who openly encourage this shit create the next Chris Savino and John Lasseter. This is how it starts people. Chris Savino blacklisted female artists who opposed his behavior or wouldn’t sleep with him.
And do you know why it took a huge amount of effort to take Chris Savino down? They had to find a loophole and they had to get a crowd to make it happen. Giving him a show only let him have more access to victims.

These are not isolated incidents. This happens because people in the industry keep doing this shit. When they aren’t looking the other way, they use blacklisting, intimidation, and defend inappropriate behavior. It’s still happening.
Looking the other way on gross behavior is an industry standard in animation. Don’t even kid yourself, they’ve done this before. Maybe not online, maybe not where you can see it, but they’ve done it before. Probably more times than we realize.
Who knows how many other artists careers these so called professionals destroyed because they spoke out against them. Fuck these people. Fuck anyone who allows this to happen.

We don’t appreciate the fact that Bruce Wayne is a Kardasian level celebrity enough. Everyone knows him. I want more one shots and crack fic moments where the League (Pre identity reveals) just openly talk about Bruce Wayne in front of Batman.
Just imagine them playing fuck, marry, kill with famous actors and such and throwing Bruce into the mix. And Batman just sits there, silently suffering as he listens to the reasons why Flash and Lantern would marry, fuck, or kill him. He prays they choose kill. They don’t.

This works best if the reveal comes after literally everyone else has played, and half of the people have said “I’d marry Bruce Wayne for the money” and the other half have not only said that they’d fuck him, but been reasonably graphic as to how.

One thing that’s driving me wild about this is that they’re trying to “modernize” something that’s proven to be pretty timeless. Like, the Super Mario games take place in a unique fantasy world that has proven to flexible enough to adapt to the tastes of players over nearly 4 decades, and Hollywood always seems to think the best approach when given an IP like that is to bring it to the modern day so they can make pop culture references that will be dated upon release.
