I always love that giovanni was never a heartless mob boss. there are actually a few things he does care about. his persian, his guilt about what happened with jesse and stopping his own creation.
James is the best character in pokemon. All his pokemon he asks if they want to join him and he genuinely cares about them. He and brock would be unstoppable together.
