Uh. so I thought it was odd that susie was basically just a normal girl who got wrapped up in this whole mess, unlike kris and noelle who have greater ties to all the weirdness in the game but. there’s actually a cut part of the vessel creation scene that. I’ve also seen people say that the cut text here has the typer value 999, as opposed to gaster’s typer value of 666. Mhmmmng. don’t like this. Is Susie going to be okay.

To expand on that idea a little bit, back in Undertale when Frisk goes to sleep in Toriel’s home, they can wake up with this memory of Asgore begging Chara not to die:
…and it sounds a little similar to the death screen you can get in Chapter 2 that is spoken by Susie:
So maybe the “wake up” quote is actually a past memory of Kris’s, from a timeline before we intervened, that they died in?
After all, the following from Gaster about creating a “New Future”…
…seems to imply there was an old future, which was reset…
…a future which apparently happens again if we give up on the game over screen and let Kris die.
In Undertale, characters often have feelings/premonitions from reset timelines, even if they don’t fully remember them - including being friends with Frisk, if they were.
If the “wake up” quote was from Susie and from a reset timeline, maybe Kris and Susie were friends then too?
what I love about tumblr is how random it picks it faves. a shipost with 3 typos could go viral. the same post 2 hours later could get like two notes. you could draw the next Mona Lisa and it could get buried in the search function. you could make a way too personal post and over 1k people reblog it in 1 hour. Russian roulette every time you hit that post button baby.
honestly where else can you have the experience of refreshing your dash hoping for at least one (1) sympathy note on something you poured your heart and soul into while seeing a text post float by that reads “soup gay” and is at 100k notes, surrounded by memes someone dreamed about
