People seem to think Homestuck is either hilarious or tragic but in all reality it is an incredibly awkward and unsettling mix of both
Like, a boy living in the post-apocalypse gives himself a tattoo of a character created by his older brother, who died trying to save the planet and of whom he never got to meet. Tragic, right?

A girl is reunited with her mother who had died in her own timeline and finally confronts her about all the passive aggressive oneupsmanship. Turns out they both just really fucking love wizards.
A lot of the time it’s discussed how romantic partners are abusive, and friends less so.
This post is dedicated to warning signs that your friend may be abusive.

ACTIONS THAT THEY DO
-They act like what you say is unimportant or stupid
-They tease you about your interests, alone and in front of other people
-They leak/show other people private conversations between you two without asking if it’s ok
-Purposely excluding you when they’re with you and their other friends
-They refuse to respect your boundaries, physically and emotionally
-Forcing you to be responsible for their mental health
-Suicide threats to prevent you from leaving
-Hurts you physically or sexually
-Prevents you from hanging out with your other friends
-Does things that they know upset you on purpose

-You always feel like you’re doing something wrong
-You’re afraid of them or always anxious around them
-You’re afraid of telling them what’s wrong in fear that they’ll react unkindly
-Constantly worried of saying the wrong thing
-Feeling like you’re never good enough
can we talk about how jaspers plan was literally terrible
like i guess i thought she’d have some kind of big thing planned bc there were so many ominous posts abt it but she. didnt at all she literally just nabbed some gems and was like “u work for me now!!” and then stormed the fucking castle w two corrupted gems and her bare hands, not even knowing that pearl and garnet werent there. she was ready to throw down w the whole crystal gem crew like that. is there a doubt in anyones mind abt how bad she would have lost that fight
