Yeah. Honestly it’s pretty stupid because it was all explained in his video and the ones who actually watch it are taking more stuff he said out of context. “matpat gave the pope undertale” sounds way different than “matpat met the pope while representing the YouTube gaming community and it’s customary to give the pope a gift that’s reflective of the culture your represent and he chose undertale, a game about choices, consequences and reflect and peace/love”
Yeah, “matpat met the pope while representing the YouTube gaming community” is actually even more ridiculous so I’m not sure context makes this one better

Honestly the only thing more annoying than something with a large following is an anti following. People who will use the most irrelevant things to try and make something look bad. Like “oh, this guy was rolmates with this guy for a year. That means what he has is gonna be bad” or “oh, this guy likes a game that I don’t like. He’s a terrible person.”
