Obi-Wan can find an invisible planet hidden by a devious Sith Lord, Anakin can’t find his ex-best friend on his own home planet while the guy is still using his own damn name.
I know we give Obi-wan a lot of shit for leaving Luke with his real surname but Anakin really is that stupid
Let’s just pretend Anakin’s slaying of the Tusken Raiders created a strong negative Force aura that masked Obi-Wan and Luke’s presence, much like the tree/cave on Dagobah hid Yoda.
That’s actually true. It was such a negative Aura that even non-force sensitive people would have hallucinations and sick feelings just being in a vague nearby area.
Listen, I think we all know why vader didn’t go onto tatooine. It’s not because it’s where he was raised as a slave or where he saw his mother die and he slaughtered an entire village. It’s a much simpler reason.
