the uk banned guns in 1996 after a school massacre and that means there has only ever been one school shooting in the uk and since then there has only been one killing spree which was 2010. thats one in 20 years. i get that america is a whole lot fucking bigger but it gets to a point where the people have to stop being babies with grabby hands and realise that maybe that the correlation is because guns cause gun crime. its not that hard.

I was thinking that Dark Link could also be a manifestation of all Link’s darker/evil desires. Except as a child his darkest desire would be to like…noogy(?) Mido. So DL just stands around in the shade, looking lost.
i’d like to preface this by saying this is my super loose hc for my own iterations of these characters that almost never come up since i dont draw them nakey with any kind of frequency and almost never talk abt it directly, and isnt me being pushy or w.e. you do you*
chara is agender and puts a whole lot of energy into being read as neutrally as possible. to them, being mislabeled is a fate worse than death, and their identity causes them a lot of stress. they grew up in a really harsh conforming environment and it played a huge role in their sense of self. they’re already pretty androgynous without having to try, but unless they’re actively (and usually unsafely) going above and beyond to pass they have an even harder time getting out of the house than usual.
also hey while we’re at how about the other guy. it given how they hail from the future (~212x) frisk’s situation is kinda unique. society is more accepting at that point than it was back when chara was around, so when a certain intersex potato rolls into the world nobody bothers to box them in, and they don’t either. frisk’s upbringing wasn’t great, but it wasn’t ever because of that, and though their overall self esteem can waver, they don’t see a problem with their body image and aren’t particularly dysphoric.
BONUS something i was talking about with @feralphoenix i cant stop thinking about: aside from vandalizing things, introducing themselves to asriel was the first time chara was able to go by their chosen name. theres a reason why instead of coming up with a super cool alternate self like he did, chara’s final boss form didn’t look any different. they were already an alternate, better self to begin with
