Every so often he wakes up in a new bed. People act as if they know him. He puts together from his surroundings who he is supposed to be, always acting cautious.
A dilemma presents itself to him. He plays out a story arc.
And then he wakes up in a new bed. New people act as if they know him.
Look at this brilliant acting , as Michael Cera’s Multiverse Character (the MCMC) tries to figure out his relationship to this person (juno). Are they friends? Lovers? Both?
This leads to the question… Just how old is the MCMC? Is he as young as he appears? Millions of years old? Has time ceased to exist as anything meaningful for him?
Is it being implied to us that this character has been damned?
Or, is he a god?
Only Michael Cera knows for sure.

Who saw Amanda Beales encyclopedia and thought it was a good idea to shred it into confetti? They must have already shredded into confetti by the time MacGee finished untangling cobbles knot. She knew right away as soon as the confetti started falling so they must have done it while he was still working on it.
