ohhhh my god you do not know how much i live by that statement
in my opinion, one of undertale’s morals is that there’s always more to a person than you think. many examples include flowey, undyne, sans, alphys, and yes, even chara. i refuse to believe that chara is only a demon murderer. it’s not right and untrue.
it is universally agreed that chara is the filler text in teh genocide path so why are people so hesitant to accept that chara might also be filler text in pacifist. Hell, I knew one person who was so deadset on chara being a one diminsional character that he tried to convince people filler text in pacifist was a fourth mysterious player.
Why is it that kinda creepy dudes almost universally seem to prefer the word “females” over saying “women?” Are they trying to sound academic or something? It’s like they’re talking about an animal species. “Let me describe my observations of THE FEMALES”
That’s because if you refer to a female as a “woman” you have to deal with the “Are you saying I look old” problem, and if you refer to her as a “girl” then you have to deal with “Are you saying I look like a child” problem.
The workings of the female mind us such a mystery that referring to them as seperate species is both the safest and most honest way to address them.
