Anonymous asked: I just think that if someone doesn't like christmas, the people who do like it shouldn't lynch the person. I mean, the reaction on jitters blog makes it seem like christmas wih the kranks is plausible

thedenofravenpuff:

Exactly.

I hated that movie. People was unreasonable, acted like it was a crime to just… not feel up to celebrate Christmas. And the morale was supposedly that you really HAS to celebrate it, and the victims of the stories supposed to learn a lesson and the horrible bullies were the heroes.

Too many gets all offended by hearing someone doesn’t celebrate the holiday, or even if they just call it something else. It gets personal, just like someone takes it too personal if someone doesn’t like the same kind of music.

What’s up with that?

Where is the respect and love the holiday is supposed to represent? And why can’t it be extended to those not celebrating it? Because it should. Love and respect everyone, no matter what. If they don’t like the holiday they are not hurting you. But you are hurting them for not respecting that.

Respect goes both ways after all.

The respect and love died when it became a commercialistic holiday where if you don’t celebrate and don’t get the most expensive gift, then you’re somehow a terrible person. Hell, even the santa we know was created by cocacola to sell more soda. The st nick had blue or green clothing. fuck christmas

Today I walk into work and there are a ton of people in my building and it’s kind of a mess and everyone is talking and I sort of just blurt out:

“Man, it’s a zoo in here!”

Everyone stopped and looked at me as though I had 2 heads.

Then I realized.

I work at a zoo.

Update: my boss was talking about how he was really excited for an entire week of vacation and was wondering what he should do, so I looked him dead in the eye and told him, with a straight face,

“You should visit the local Zoo, I heard it’s really nice.”

Under pain of death I am no longer allowed to make any zoo related jokes.

Part three: I was cleaning the squirrel monkeys and one of them kept trying to climb up me so I sort of just yelled

“WILL YOU STOP MONKEYING AROUND??”

I forgot my boss was in the next room and he walked and just glared at me

Please never stop doing the lord’s work

This was THE game show scandal of the 80′s.  While not a result of the type of rigging seen back during the quiz show scandals of the 1950′s, Larson had managed to memorize the pattern of lights used in the show’s game board to accurately predict exactly when to hit the buzzer for the best outcome.

Ironically, it was right after the film Quiz Show was released to theaters–inspired by the quiz show scandals in the 50′s–that CBS’ producers decided to take a second look at Larson’s winning streak, only to uncover the fraud.  It wasn’t the first questionable scheme concocted by Larson, who was also evading the law for previous illegal offenses.  In the end, he lost every dirty penny within a span of only two years.

If you run your game board on a pattern, and he’s able to see and memorize the pattern, is that actually cheating?
