People wanting to headcanon Linkle as trans literally changes nothing except give trans fans some representation. You people trashing it are acting like it’s some insult to her if she is, and that says more about you than the fans supporting the headcanon
Edit: The points made in this post are based on the assumption that every character is presenting as their gender identity and I’m well aware that some people who are trans don’t do that

Here’s how you don’t do it
“lol this character is X i dont make the rules and ur a [Insert buzzword here] if u disagree”
The reason why I don’t agree with people saying linkle is trans is because it feels like they’re using stereotypes to justify it. There’s more evidence that she will be related to tingle and considering how much link helped tingle in wind waker and majoras mask, it’s not too farfetched that someone as odd as him would name his daughter after link.
