Also on a side note, I use the word “triggered” lightly be cause I actually know what’s it to be triggered, don’t worry I’ve had my fair share.
I encountered a similar situation when someone claimed ace people aren’t oppressed so I mentioned that ace people are sometimes subjected to “corrective rape” and linked some articles about instances of it happening and tagged it as tw: rape but the person claimed that was a “low blow” and shouldn’t be counted because the person claiming aces aren’t oppressed is supposedly a rape survivor and still claims ace people are apparently horrible people.
