Found this post in my tags. I had to look up what that means and only found it is Spanish for witchcraft… I don’t even know who you are……..
So two of my Spanish friends confirmed that this word means Witchcraft and is not slang for curse or spell. You can’t really put a witchcraft on someone so I think you’re misusing the word. If you mean curse or spell that’s alright but my next question is who are you and why would I put a curse or Spell on You? Do you know how witch craft works?
I love pokemon go culture and all the ppl who are getting into pokemon bc of it, but with the good also comes the bad…. by that i mean the elitist superiority complex nerds are popping out of the woodwork to let us all know again how they played pokemon before everyone else, & how they’re SO SURE that “none of you even played pokemon before this” as if it even makes a difference?? Yesterday i saw someone post on facebook about how they’re somehow better than everyone else bc they refuse to “give in” to the new fad of pokemon go, and everybody commenting on the post was like “stay strong, don’t conform” ???!!! ITS A GAME? LET PPL HAVE FUN? negative ass…. other people b like, “can’t wait for this pokemon go shit to die out in a month lol” boy. Pokemon been around for 20 years my dude it’s only gained exponential popularity since then. u rly think something as interactive and new as this gonna flop? pokemon go is only gonna get better from here. like jesus fucking christ the entire idea of straight passing is the most bullshit thing because anyone can “pass” for straight if they are literally just walking down the street doing nothing because straight is seen as the “default” sexuality and to assume that every person you see who is in (what you assume) a “straight” relationship contributes to the erasure of bisexual people and biphobia in general

Even two lesions can have “straight privilege” if they’re walking and talking because people would assume they’re just good friends. Stop denying people who belong in the LGBT community on some misplaced notion of what is and isn’t gay. For fucking sakes what do you even think the B in LGBT even sands for? Beyonce? Bees? Battletoads? It stands for bisexual.
Well, there is a matter of shading and such, as well as what filter you put on your drawing and what the lighting is like in the scene you’re drawing, what kinda mood you’re trying to get across, if you’re using a restrained palette.

Lightening a skin tone in art is more complicated than just writing down the hex code for what a person’s skin color should be. I’d imagine a lot of artists don’t even realize they’re doing it when they lighten a skin tone past what is acceptable.
A good rule of thumb (that I need to follow more) is not to eyeball a character’s skin tone but make a starter palette than adjust it to the lighting as necessary. If you’re doing a piece that’s artsy fartsy, or has a three color palette or something, make sure the contrast of the skin is still intact. Dark skin shouldn’t pop as much as light skin against dark hair.
Also, while this is a lesson that applies just as much to amateur artists as it does to professional artists, remember, a lot of artists on Tumblr are still new and learning. Depictions of characters that might seem fatphobic or racist at a first glance might be the result of someone still struggling to break past fatphobic or racist caricatures in their art that were picked up from other mainstream sources.
We’re all here to improve and get better, so let’s do our best to help each other make art that is inclusive and celebrates diversity.
Thank you for giving this post some semblance of logic. I hate to see artists who make these completely unintentional mistakes get slammed for trying to do lighting and palette colors correctly. Everyone has to start somewhere. Please consider your words before you go off on someone.
