Fuck it. I’m dropping this class. The art prof is such a classist douche. He said “if you can’t afford the supplies I require, then don’t take the class”

can’t believe you can’t get powerade in america but you can get an AR-15 assault riffle at a panera bread

This is a misconception, in America, ‘panera bread’ is capitalized

why do ppl try to greentext on tumblr

it’s just become ingrained in social media in recent years

people do it on facebook, people do it on youtube, people do it on twitter, etc

it’s less about the text being green now, it’s used everywhere online because people just seem to be so used to it to get points across

The specific manner in which greentext stories were related has pretty much solidified “>” as being associated with a particular form of syntax. It’s like how typing without punctuation or capitalization now carries an implicit mood or meaning.

>is a tumblr blogger
>sees someone complaining about use of greentext
>sees someone else point out why the style of greentext affexcts the tone and emotion of a post
>“nice”

Some advice for when you’re writing and find yourself stuck in the middle of a scene:

  • kill someone
  • ask this question: “What could go wrong?” and write exactly how it goes wrong
  • switch the POV from your current character to another - a minor character, the antagonist, anyone
  • stop writing whatever scene you’re struggling with and skip to the next one you want to write
  • write the ending
  • write a sex scene
  • use a scene prompt
  • use sentence starters
  • read someone else’s writing

Never delete. Never read what you’ve already written. Pass Go, collect your $200, and keep going.

This is the literal best writing advice I have ever read. Period.

Special note: “Kill someone” means kill someone in the story. Please do not kill random real life passers by every time you hit a block. My lawyer says misunderstanding writing advice is not an acceptable defense. See you all in 25 to 50 years.

Tonight on Wander over Yonder

crackmccraigen:

Well this is it, part 4 of the 4 part Dominator/ Hater arc that began with THE GREATER HATER where Hater met his greatest foe, then came to blows in THE BATTLE ROYALE where his hate for him turned into love for her, which he professed in MY FAIR HATEY only to have his heart crushed just like all the all the planets are about to be in…

Since this is the end of the season and the end of the series I would simply like to take this opportunity to thank everyone on the crews at Disney Television Animation, Mercury Filmworks, and Boulder Media for their outstanding work on Wander over Yonder these past two seasons. Thank you for your dedication, for your talent, and for your friendship. This show was a blast to make and I can honestly say the work we did together on these 80 cartoons are some of my favorite cartoons I’ve ever been a part of in my career!

Special thanks to:

For sharing their art, experiences, and thoughts with YOU, the fans, who I’d like to thank most of all for watching and wandering with us! I thought winning the Annie was an incredible achievement, but hearing how much the message of WOY has helped so many people here has really touched all of us on the show and made all of our hard work worthwhile. So thank you!

We loved checking in here after each airing to see what you thought worked and what didn’t.  It gave us the confidence to continue on the path we were on but also sometimes gave us pause as to avoid any unseen missteps.

And finally thanks to Disney Television Animation and Disney XD for giving us the opportunity in the first place to explore this weird galaxy of goofballs.

And as Wander would say:

“We gave it a go, put on a heck of a show, and did a lot of fun stuff we’ll get to laugh about after”

Thanks again,

That’s all Folks!
