This is a fairly old comic thing, makes me cringe every time I see it because I wish I could un draw it and I’m not going to spout excuses for it because I know I’m in the wrong here. I did delete it a while ago mainly for this reason. I realize now how shitty this is, at the time it was made I was pretty fucking ignorant. It was geared more towards shipping than anything, but that still doesn’t excuse it because it’s pretty shitty.
I apologize for this and I want to state that this comic in no way reflects how i feel now, I know now how icky it is and I genuinely did not mean any harm when I had drawn it.

That ridiculous argument you tried to use is something we like to call a logical fallacy; a false equivalence, to be exact. Now, had you paid attention in 9th grade English, you’d know what that means, but since you apparently haven’t taken that class yet, I’ll explain: False equivalence is a logical fallacy which describes a situation where there seems to be a logical and apparent equivalence, but when in fact there is none.
See? That’s what your bullshit argument is. It didn’t make sense in any way, because contrary to what you seem to believe, gay people are not feet.
Now, of course, to your next ridiculous point: me apparently getting offended over nothing. See, this argument is something bigots use to try and silence marginalized people. You’re one person in a long line of homophobes who has tried to use it. Try to come up with something more original next time.
And, of course, I’m not “getting offended over nothing.” The fetishization of gay men by women, usually straight women, is something that happens quite often. Write now, I’m sure there’s a straight woman gushing to her equally hetero friend about how much she obsesses over gay men. My own (straight) friends have told me before I need to get a boyfriend so they can watch us make out. Like I said, it’s a recurring problem: straight women objectify gay men for their own entertainment and pleasure. I’m sure even you can see how disgusting that is.
Now, seeing that you apparently think gay men are feet, you’re probably thinking, “Why, so what? This is no different than a foot fetish!” Well, my ignorant friend, I’ll explain.
LGBT people are a marginalized group. We are often degraded and dehumanized, seen as nothing more than sexual objects cishets can use for their own benefit. So see, when straight women objectify gay men, talk about how much they obsess over gay men, talk about how shipping gay couples is sinning, talk about how much they want to see 2 men fuck, etc, it’s fetishization, it’s dehumanizing, it’s homophobic, and it happens often enough to be a major problem.
Now, believe it or not, feet are not a marginalized group, so a foot fetish and the fetishization of gay men are not comparable.
honestly i am just amazed that the author as come forth to say the comic was wrong and homophobic and they deleted it and do not condone what this comic was about any longer and people are still defending it as ‘not being homophobic’

What I’m saying is no we don’t have kangaroo bones leaving a trail from the Middle East to Australia. But we can find fossils of kangaroo ancestors and we can see how they migrated as they evolved
and you’re missing the joke. The whole joke is that the story of noahs ark is easily disprove and the entire story sounds ridiculous when you put it in this kind of perspective.
