I’m forcing my way through Alpha and Omega, but it’s really hard to watch this thing.

I’ve never seen a theatrical release so lacking in polish. I can’t believe this came out in 2010. It’s so bad.

in this shot you can actually see where the cg landscape ends and the matte painting begins

those checkmarks are supposed to be carved into the tree but here you can clearly see that when the tree was modeled they instead made the check marks stick OUT of the tree, and then just gave it a different texture and thought no one would notice

I will never understand the “Immigrants are going to take our jobs!” argument.  The jobs that immigrants “take” are the ones that were available because no one wanted them, not jobs that were already filled.

It’s more often the company that immigrates to another country and takes the jobs with them than it is the immigrant that comes to “take a job”.

It’s like getting a new roomate and the roomate decides to bake a cake from scratch and then you complain that you were gonna make a cake when everyone knows you werent’.

Immigrants aren’t taking everyones jobs because the people who complain “they took our job” just sit on their ass all day and abuse welfare. They don’t even go out and look for jobs.
