honestly I kind of love how well the actors are conveying their characters with non-cartoony costumes and their faces not even showing though
TBH I’m expecting this to be an unexpectedly poignant and touching musical.

THat’s supposed to be sandy? Everyone else is in something that resembles the characters, why didn’t they at least give her baggy pants to simulate her dive suit?

and find that to be more fulfilling
like, there’s no betrayal plot twist, they just grow into that role
