Something that really bothers me that’s a weirdly common trend is transmen being excluded from women’s issues

pretty sure being told over and over “you just need the right man to show you you’re a woman” counts as an issue that only an assigned female at birth person would go through.

all the times we get objectified for having female genitalia

“Oh but you make such a PRETTY girl! why would you do that to yourself? ): ): ): “

“but don’t you want to have babies? what about babies???”

“how can you expect to be a parent?/you could make a good mother though!”

“you’re just hiding from being a woman because of your trauma”

C: So yeah kindly fuck off if you think transmen magically get better treatment just because they identify as menfolk.

We’re not suddenly given man privileges, trust me.

All searches relating “ted cruz” and “zodiac killer” have been removed from google

On February 26th, NPR posted this screenshot of the google search “ted cruz is”:

“Is ted cruz the zodiac killer” is the second suggestion. Here is a screenshot from today (3/21):

Nothing about the zodiac killer. The conspiracy theory is also absent from any search suggestions for other combinations of ‘ted cruz’ and ‘zodiac killer’. So maybe there’s a reasonable explanation: fewer people are asking google if Ted Cruz is the zodiac killer, and are instead asking if he is republican or married. Nope. Not according to google trends, which shows ‘is ted cruz the zodiac killer’ as a more interesting search term since February.

Conclusion

Ted cruz got google to remove all search suggestions relating him to the zodiac killer (because ted cruz is the zodiac killer).

Anonymous asked: So what does Liz's hypnotic radio do to people anyway? Can you tell us some of the effects?

:

[LORE MODE ACTIVATED]

The station mostly plays normal music, laced with lots and lots of subliminal messages. It’s not like they’re playing mantras on live public-access radio; the authorities would get suspicious.

Though nefarious in its methods and long-term plans, for the moment the station is mostly just working to spread its influence. The obvious way to do this is by making more people listen more frequently, unaware of the effects. Besides, the more loyal fans the station has, the more money it can rake in on advertising deals and the like, further increasing its resources.

As for the actual effects, there aren’t many permanent ones. The station rewards its listeners with positive reinforcement using subliminals that cause arousal and pleasure. This generally makes them happier and more likely to listen again in the future, as well as recommend the station to others.

Still, there are side effects. While people who listen once or twice won’t be affected, repeat listeners have reported an inability to get certain songs out of their heads, feelings of constant arousal, subconscious whistling, a tendency to doze off, and most notably, a sexual attraction to the voice of the station’s host, even (or perhaps especially) for those normally not attracted to the female sex.

And while there have been few cases so far, people who listen too often and too long may end up addicted to the music, and will do anything to hear more.
