Ahhh I hated this. The same goes for trying to read a book in the car. Once it got dark, long car rides were the worst.
My parents never allowed me to get those little add-on lights because they said it was bad for my eyes.Trying to strain yourself reading in the dark is arguably worse for your eyes…
this is why having a sega game gear made me feel cooler B)

You always had to have a baggie of batteries along with that nyko worm light.. i remember when i first got the gameboy i used a flash light a lot to illuminate the screen..
