New Republican ad came out today which gave me the best reaction image I’ve ever seen.
But this really should be an object of shame:

But as The Daily Banter pointed out, the woman the ad used to prove that “Republicans are black” is actually a very popular stock photo.
then one of the people who made that add told that the people that appear there are not republicans

Let’s be honest, today’s Republicans are greedy, xenophobic, closed-minded old men that try to PUT CHURCH IN STATE WHEN JEFFERSON SAID THERE IS TO BE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION, NOT THE BIBLE.
And Democrats are any better how? I mean we have a Democrat majority here in California and…the place has turned to shit. Just saying both Democrats and Republicans are full of shit and neither one can really be better than the other.
Democrats accept LGBT.
They’re getting rid of LGBT conversion therapy.
They fight for the middle class.
They actually support equal rights.
They don’t wave their guns in your face.
They don’t shush women in interviews.
They don’t try to justify their every “law” with the Bible.
They don’t have binders full of women.
They don’t look for weapons of mass destruction.
They don’t believe in the broken “trickle-down economics.”
But both sides can never get anything done because they’re a house divided.

It is totally okay to slip up and misgender yourself sometimes. It doesn’t make you any less trans. You were raised to think you were (male, female) and that you would never be anything other than that. Don’t beat yourself up over it if you misgender yourself!!
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT HOLY FUCK. Especially since people will try to convince you that slipping like that means you’re “not really” what you say you are.
Also, please don’t feel embarrassed if you still have your old name/body/presentation in your dreams. It means nothing, they’re just dreams and everyone knows dreams can be silly buggers! :3
also you will react to hearing your old name for a long time. which doesn’t excuse others from calling you by it; supporting trans people means helping us get used to being properly named and gendered. (trust me: we aren’t. we can all use the practice.)

I can’t even tell you the number of horrible self-hating thoughts that will float into your mind if you’re transitioning but slip up on YOURSELF, and its absolutely reasonable when you’ve been taught to associate yourself with a gender and name you’re uncomfortable with for years, decades even.
