I have Pearl with two defense badges, amethyst with the fire badge and the rose tear badge and I have garnet with the crit=health badge.
I spam Amethysts super whip thing on the tougher enemies and the ones with shields. A bunch of small attacks that deal a little bit of damage is more likely to get the burning effect than one attack that does a lot of damage in one burst. I just wish the badge that lets you gain health for each lucky hit could be worn by her.
