Now, you might be scoffing and wondering, “Where’s the evidence for this ludicrous claim?”
Well, in my frame-by-frame investigations of the series, I’ve discovered that this twin brother (whom I’ve nicknamed “Mabie”) is actually everywhere, if one looks closely enough.
Just look at this screencap from the very first episode, “Tourist Trapped”:
There, right next to Mabel! Peculiar, isn’t it?
But that’s not all! Check out this screencap from episode eight, “Irrational Treasure.” Who’s that behind Stan?
That’s right, folks, a cleverly hidden Mabie.
So, what’s the story here?
Was Mabie sent to Gravity Falls years ago and now stalks Mabel to try and warn her of the dangers of the town? Is he Mabel’s counterpart from some sort of alternate reality?
Or is he merely the delusion of a fan who’s reading too much into things?
Look, I don’t mean to rain on fan theories. Like I believe everyone should be allowed to believe what they want! But if we’re looking at evidence here, I’m going to have to disagree.
Main point: OP claims that “Mabie” is cleverly disguised as Mabel’s companion. Most convincingly, he is “beside” Mabel in those screenshots above.
but wait a moment
In this clearer screen shot, you can clearly see that it is in fact a pig. Not just any pig, but Waddles, who made his first appearance in “Time Traveler’s Pig.” You can verify this yourself! I’m not making it up. Notice how he’s pink.
Now I’m not saying Mabie can’t exist. You can still make up headcanons about him, and AUs maybe, but I think OP’s evidence is pretty clearly debunked…
Sorry :/

the funniest movie i have ever seen. literally one of the funniest comedies of all time. incredible pacing and dialogue. reference jokes that were actually funny. surreal world that was so modern fantasy it actually worked. rocking score. awesome scene set to "i need a hero" being sung by the villain unironically and completely played straight. a bar of villains. just overall the best concepts ever.
