In a 43-part tweetstorm on Tuesday, Doucette recounted a recent experience defending a 17-year-old black teen from claims by a police officer that the teen was doing 360s in the middle of the street. Over the course of the story, Doucette demonstrates many of the problems black people face in the U.S. court system and why changes never seem to stick.

Blacks are not looking for favor. They are looking for fairness and equality! Anyone committing a crime should be punished regardless of race, creed or color. But if fairness is not going to be applied to any person of color then why do you say that we are playing the race card? When a teenaged white kid can cause the death of 4 people and be deemed,“to affluent to pay for his crime”. But a black kid could face 8 years in prison for possessing a bag of weed (if one is fortunate! because he has the true risk of being killed by cops). Something is horribly wrong there.

He is a great artist I respect, and we got completely different taste and style, so whateve he and I make, is nothing alike (other than it being ponies I guess? ^^’‘) so my thought is, since we got different tastes, we might also attract different kinds of people? But I could be wrong

FUCK THAT ANON you aren’t stealing money from jitters. If people wanna buy your art they have that right. If people wanna buy jitters art, they have that right. There is no reason jitters should be prioritized over you and I’m sure jitters would agree that this anon is acting like a twat.
Sometimes, you don’t necessarily have to do anything bad. Sometimes, people just hate you for being you. It’s okay to be sad and scared. But, you can’t make everyone happy so stick to those who you know care for you and always make sure you take care of the most important person in the equation: you.
