are people just actively hunting for asshole bronies or what because I’m having a really hard time seeing anything different from any other fandoms in terms of entitled assholes vs nice people enjoying something
They are just generalizing based on a minorit and blaming artists who were probably payed to draw the porn rather than irresponsible parents. Also, they are having trouble distinguishing the difference between a real brony and a troll acting like a “brony”

So far, this situation has proven the SU fandom to be incredibly immature and over-reactive.
If you don’t see that as ‘toxic’, being closed off and paranoid about people for being a fan of a different show and generalizing them as a whole based on one shitty website that even they tend to disagree with and hate, then I don’t know what to say.
It’s really sad because there was an episode where the blogger and the poser were younger and the blogger was like “why do you care so much about what people think about you?” and the poser was like “You would to if you knew what people thought about you” and the blogger DID know but still did his own thing and ended up being pretty cool but the poser was still a pathetic poser.
Basically, the SU fandom cares way too much about how people will see them to actually enjoy the show and need to grow up.
i think it’s really funny that it’s perfectly acceptable to many to laugh at a guy for saying “not all men” and make it a popular joke
but when it comes to something like pitbulls it’s “NOT ALL OF THEM ARE LIKE THAT THERE’S THIS HUGE PROBLEM IN THE MEDIA PORTRAYAL AND BLABALA”. but nobody makes fun of them. nobody laughs at them for saying that not all members of a certain gene group are dangerous. they agree.
so certain types of generalizations are accepted and others are not? why can’t we just accept that nobody is the same and it’s not okay to assume people and animals and whatever else is bad before you even know it/them. it’s just sad how much glorified paranoia i see on my dash, because it’s really not healthy to think that way at all. it triggers so much more bad than good and influences more than you think.
So yeah. Not all men. not all women. not all humans. not all cats. not all dogs. not all couches. not all sharks. not all skydiving trips. not all bugs. not all foods. Unless it is fucking proven with evidence that a species or event happens a certain way like a chemical formula or a mindless survival tactic that a mosquito possesses,… don’t assume. don’t generalize.
