Honestly, when you think about the consequences of the U.S. drone policy… It’s one of the saddest things I have ever heard. Not only are we talking mass civilian casualties, including children, but we’re talking the wide sweeping psychological terror we’re imposing on people. Children fear clear skies because that’s when drones fly. This kid was a wreck because drones killed his family, he was terrified of them, lived in terror, and guess what? He was right to fear them because they took his life, too
I don’t focus enough on the drone policy. It’s so horrifying. It needs to stop.
There’s actually a word for that. Assuming power through violence and intimidation, I mean. It’s called terrorism.
Just be aware that Paul Ryan is trying to pass a bill that allows rapists to sue their rape victims if they get an abortion in a state that allows it. If this isn’t the most awful thing I’ll hear for the rest of the week, I don’t know what is.
