they may not pick up on sexual or flirtatious cues
they don’t explicitly express strong sexual attraction to others
because you can
just
because you can
bad reasons to headcanon a character as asexual:
they’re “innocent”/“childlike”
they’re non-human
they lack genitals
they’re cold and emotionless
bad reasons to deny a character possibly being asexual:
they’ve dated someone
they’ve had sex at least once
seriously how hard is it to grasp that asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction, not a lack of sex drive or romantic attraction, is it really too fucking complicated to grasp this very simple definition
they’re “too emotional”
you personally find them too hot to want them to be asexual
also: headcanoning a character as asexual solely because you dont want them to “interfere” with your otp yikes !!!!!!
What’s even worse than the bad reasons to headcanon someone as ace is when they refuse to stop shipping a ship despite one of the people being canon ace. There’s one ship I won’t say but when they had a special to expand on the characters and one of the characters canonically does not romantically love the person they are still being shipped with. Hell, one of the tests he was doing he couldn’t get it to work until two other characters got married and it turned out the magical properties of love ended up being the catalyst for the experiment. If this character was romantically involved with the one he’s rabidly shipped with, the experiment would have been a success way sooner. Hell, he didn’t even consider that love could be a catalyst but people will actively go onto fanworks where the two characters aren’t shipped and ask why they aren’t being shipped.
the word “gay” is so often used as an insult and straight people use it permanently and make this word sound bad and weak but just watch ONE queer person say something like “glad im not straight” and the heterolinis go “what exactly is so wrongn about being straigh?t why do you have to insult us? don’t make fun of ANYONES sexuality! WTF!”
Okay I gotta say this, if a character in something has lost an arm, only to have it replaced with an awesome bionic thing that’s clearly way better than a normal arm.
They’re not disabled. They don’t have a disability, they have an awesome robot hand.
From the sounds of it you’re disabled for a few years still as your body heals/adjusts with rehab and stuff. Edward was an exceptional case in only taking one year to do the rehab.
Or hiccup who had to make his own leg and toothless’s tail and had to make adjustments and they are still rather faulty at times but he’s always improving them.
Yeah, but those weren’t improvements. I’m assuming this was sparked by the robot chef arm where someone called him an awesome disabled character despite that robot arm being clearly superior to a normal human arm.
Well, why not make a better replacement? If you lose something why not get a more versatile replacement if you can afford it?

Sleep is just the human version of ‘turn it off and on again’
Actually, defibrillation is the human equivalent of turning it off and on again. Sleeping is the equivalent of rendering out the events that happened during the day.
I think the prequels have better action scenes by far than the original trilogy.
The fact that Yoda fights does not bother me at all, I thought it was awesome.
Yeah they got problems but please stop telling me I shouldn’t have bothered buying the prequels when it comes up in conversation because fuck you, I actually like them.
Same. They have this poor tendency to get rather wordy, but I feel the pay-off with the action scenes is more than enough.
While I’m not a big fan of jar jar until the theory of him being a sith lord, I do like the prequels. hayden christensen gets too much undeserved hate for his part when let’s be honest, not even samuel L jackson did a decent preformence. Hell, the only one who was about to emote was ewen mcgreggor. But I think hayden christensen still managed to do a decent job with the direction he was given. My main quip with the prequels is the over reliance of CG. But other than that, I do think it’s better than the original trilogy.
