i just want to say there’s a huge difference between a program on a network geared towards children only being able to imply queer relationships (ala legend of korra or adventure time) due to legal reasons but still going out of their way to imply and develope it & a prime time television show geared towards an adult audience constantly implying it for a gag and/or to get queer viewers interested without actually having to say anything despite being able to
It’s more in international shows. That’s why gravity falls couldn’t do the old lesbian couple or the protrans necklace. Because if that were to show in phobic places like china or russia, it can get the whole network banned.
