i honestly think that what we consider the height of sculpture in all of Western civilization being essentially the leftover templates of gaudy pieces of theme park shit to be evidence of the potential merit of found art

And you know what the funniest part is? The paint didn’t just wear off over time. A bunch of asshole British historians back in the Victorian era actually went around scrubbing the remaining paint off of Greek and Roman statues - often destroying the fine details of the carving in the process - because the bright colours didn’t fit the dignified image they wished to present of the the cultures they claimed to be heirs to. This process also removed visible evidence of the fact that at least some of the statues thus stripped of paint had originally depicted non-white individuals.
Whenever you look at a Roman statue with a bare marble face, you’re looking at the face of imperialist historical revisionism.
(The missing noses on a lot of Egyptian statues are a similar deal. It’s not that the ancient Egyptians made statues with strangely fragile noses. Many Victorian archaeologists had a habit of chipping the noses off of the statues they brought back, then claiming that they’d found them that way - because with the noses intact, it was too obvious that the statues were meant to depict individuals of black African descent.)

According to what she said to me in a note her cutiemark represents a flag of homosexuality. I don’t have anything against homosexuality but this ponycreator made a pony that represents being a homosexual. Now ponies are for kids, LITTLE kids, should they be learning about homosexuality?
There is nothing wrong with teaching kids about homosexuality.
The only thing that bugs me about having a character with a cutie mark like that is like saying that their sexuality is their defining characteristic, which I personally think is a disgusting misuse of a character’s potential.

This is why you need to bind safely. The damage in the first picture is not the result of binding over numerous years with a simple binder. It’s the result of unsafe and irresponsible binding. Bind safely.

It most certainly can.
In stead of just saying BIND SAFELY you should explain the safe and in safe ways to bind.
1. Bind using only an actual binder (make sure you measure and get the proper size), or tight-ish sports bra in a pinch. You want something that compresses while still having give so that your lungs can expand.
2. Never use ace bandages/belts/tape/etc to bind.
3. Do not sleep in your binder.
4. Do not wear your binder for long periods of time. I’ve seen 8 hours mentioned as the max amount of time. Learn to read your body. Some people cannot handle binding for even 8 hours but ignore the signs and injure themselves.
5. Whenever you take your binder off give a few big coughs, this well help to break up any fluid that may have settled in your lungs.
That’s all I can think of atm, but I think I’ve covered the basics.
I’m not tagging this for followers I just want all of you that bind hard to be careful.

when i was young and stupid, I used duct tape to bind. NEVER EVER DO THIS CHILDREN. i couldn’t breathe, i could barely move, it cut into me so hard that sometimes i bled, it was so hot i got blisters, i would sometimes cry because of how much pain i was in, and it left my breasts numb in some places because of how tight it was. It killed nerve endings in my chest.
PLEASE. PLEEEEEAAAAAASE SPREAD THE WORD. PRACTICE SAFE BINDING METHODS.

Well, Skyrim is by far Bethesda’s best selling game, so i doubt they’re going to change the formula now. I’ve pretty much given up on future elder scrolls. On the off chance that they do make one that’s more complicated it would be a nice surprise, but i wouldn’t count on it.
I guess I’ll just mod the shit out of morrowind and play that
Honestly, Skyrim gets my preference if only because levelling up doesn’t make you weaker if you don’t do it in just the right way.
How did you do it in Oblivion again? Sacrifice a goat at midnight or something?
I like skyrim because in oblivion, you had to start out knowing what class you were gonna pick and plan main skills accordingly. In skyrim, you can just do whatever the fuck you want. I like that. It gives more freedom. Like, I could be going “Hmm, I’ve been a rogue too long. I’m gonna try being a mage now!” without making a whole new character.
