Why do so many artists find these comments offensive?

It is very rude to describe someones character or style by comparing it to another character or style.

The Legend of Korra is coming to an end soon, and so I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite franchises. Watching Avatar: The Last Airbender in high school was a huge motivation for me to go into animation. It really meant a lot to me, and to be able to work at Nickelodeon now is a dream come true. ESPECIALLY when I get to see Mike and Bryan sometimes at work and silently adore them from a distance.
I’ve loved this show so much. Thanks, Korra, for being so cool. (And thanks for getting a haircut so that you’re easier to animate.)
