These 7 congresspeople just killed the most important LGBT anti-discrimination bill yet
With very little fanfare, Congress has just killed the LGBT community’s best hope to end employment discrimination against sexual orientation and gender identity.
ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, was defeated by the Republican-led House Rules Committee Wednesday night by a party-line vote of 7-3, with the three Democrats dissenting.
It’s easy to make decisions for other people based on your own personal beliefs, rather than the interest of your people, when that decision doesn’t affect your life in any way shape or form.
It’s always older folk whose own future they aren’t shaping.
You know, any other person would lose their job if they were caught doing it improperly.
