dislike the idea that a ‘happy ending’ is base and boring

that an ending that is depressing and angsty and full of darkness automatically makes it “something more”

I prefer bittersweet endings.
Like, yeah the great evil is gone but the protagonist lost his arm, there’s still some of the lesser evils roaming around and some main characters are still dead.

every fandom is just shit. It,s the shows that are good. Fandoms just make you think “oh god I’m into the same shit as those nerds?”

I can get behind that. That is a valid assessment.

every fandom has their share of shitty fans. Like the sherlock fans who will lynch people for liking elementary over sherlock because it’s not like people can have opinions or anything. Or Doctor who fans who will alienate those who prefer classic who and RTDs era over moffats because they enjoy good writing over hot looking people.
