Where I grew up, people would have fake baseballs or bullet holes in their trucks. I want to go back for the holidays one year with this in my car instead.

I’m calling shenanigans. If someone attacking the car had rolled a 20, the car would be gone.

You don’t reblog and have made a point in the past of saying you don’t follow people who mainly do.
Reblogging is a central aspect of Tumblr, and you already have a limited pool of interaction because of the following requirements.
It’s a sad state of affairs when content creators have it worse than copycats, aggregators, boot lickers and bandwagon jumpers.
You just described every online social platform ever.

As an experiment: create a piece of artwork that takes you a solid week.
Upload it.
Right after it, do one of the following:
Upload a picture of a cat you found on imgur.
Write a generic social justice post that could feasably be about anything.
Vaguer the better. Bonus points if you literally rip it from a furybelle panel.
Watch your original content get vastly outshone by the cat.
The most successful post I’ve ever made on tumblr was of a dancing baby Groot gif. It’s Still getting notes Months later.
My two most successful posts were a joke about Gaurdians of the Galaxy where I used MS paint and pictures of characters who are only similar to the people and a post about bread. They have 100k+ notes. I’m lucky if any of my art posts or normal posts can even break 10 notes
