Both of them were the same height, with Michael being perhaps eighty pounds heavier. Now, I understand that is a significant weight difference. However, Michael Brown was walking down the street, he was unarmed, and he was killed 148 ft away from Darren’s SUV. And also, did you see Darren’s “injuries?” He literally had a shaving cut on his chin and claimed that he had been charged at by Michael, and that they had gotten in a “large fight.” I literally have received worse injuries falling down the stairs than what Darren had. Darren has a history of harassing other people and racial profiling (x, x, x, x.). The police in Ferguson are extremely racist and involved with the KKK. Darren Wilson might be involved with the KKK. What do I expect a police officer to do? I expect him to act lawfully and file a police report. Oh, but wait, he went against protocol and did not. In addition, it would be nearly impossible to grab Darren’s gun out of the holster. Also, oh my god!! He robbed the store! Oh wait, here is a video of Michael paying for his cigars/cigarettes. In addition, the store owner said no one called the police and nothing was stolen. Intoxicated on marijuana? That means Michael could not have even been able to react quickly to be violent. Marijuana causes dizziness, shallow breathing, and slowed reaction time. Darren Wilson literally arrested a man just for being filmed. The autopsy found that Darren shot Michael in his arm while Michael had his arms up, then continued to shoot him as he fell to the floor. In addition, Michael was far away from harming Darren. Ferguson protestors have been peacefully protesting, however cops opened fire on them with rubber bullets. This is actually against the first amendment, which allows freedom of speech and the right to assemble. Just in case you are unaware, rubber bullets can easily be lethal and/or cause serious injury. Really, all the eyewitnesses have sided with Darren? Not from all of this evidence (x, x.) No. People of color are killed by officers and face much more discrimination. In fact, they face seven times more discrimination by police officers than whites. NYPD profiling and targeting LGBT*Q people of color. Black students are given much worse punishments in school and in the criminal justice system. Albany Police: SWAT uses a poor black neighborhood to train in because it is “realistic.” A black man holding a wallet is more likely to be shot than a white man holding a gun. Really? Blacks kill blacks? Every twenty-eight hours an African American is extrajudicially executed in the US, almost one African American killed everyday by law enforcement, security guards, and/or vigilantes.

When I first started out on Tumblr, I had only been drawing digitally for a day. Yes, I had never in my life used a tablet before, and it had been years since i stopped drawing on paper. I hoped that making an askblog would help me get interested in drawing again and that it would help be improve. Since I had no idea what i was doing, I did not know what ‘pressure’ was on a tablet, and all my drawings looked like this, 12 june 2012
This was the day pitchpatch was born. I had no idea what i wanted to do with the blog and no plot what so ever. I just did it because I hoped I would improve and have a blast. And i did <3
31 august 2014 I made the latest update of my comic, still a little rough around the edges, but that only because life took me in a direction i never thought was possible. I actually have to /rush/ my updates in order to update at all. Why? Because I got what almost every artist dream off. the chance to LIVE OF MY ART. The picture you can see below is what i make when i actually take my time shading and lining. theres a huge difference, right?
By the start of 2014 I no longer had school, and therefore no income. I had a little job as a call-in teacher and I helped out in the daycare for a bit of money, but the /real/ money I lived from and payed rent with was from commissions, like the one above. I could not be happier. It’s hard work but I’m so THANKFUL that I can earn money doing what I love and I still can’t belive I have been living of my art for almost a year! It’s amazing! It’s hard work, but amazing.
But nothing good comes without some bads.. In order to live of my art, I have to earn min. 400$ a month to pay rent, not included food or electricity. thats around 16 shaded commissions. that either means I’ll have to do 2 haded commissions a day, for a week, or make at least one each other day. every commissions take between 1-2 hours. It might not sound liike much work, but withh sleep, sidejob and ordenary housestuff (I lived on my own with my boyfriend a month ago) It actually adds up a lot. including electricity and food, transport money, catfood and a small bit for myself to be comfortable It means I’ll have to do the double. so yeah, That means at least one shaded commission EACH DAY.
The moral of my story is. Please don’t pester an artist for not updating fas enough. Please don’t pester an artist for promised giftart. Please don’t pester and artist for arttrades. Some artist REALLY want to do all these things, but they /CAN’T/ because every hour they don’t use on commissions means one hour they will have to work later, in order to live. They haven’t forgotten about you. They are jut terribly busy making money for catfood or rent
