Fact: By the time you get around to saying “I’m never coming back here again,” there is a 100% chance that the employee was already hoping you wouldn’t and what you said was just reassuring so thanks.

a darkened auditorium with 264 silent people in the seats. on the stage, me, sitting on a stool, lit by a spotlight, the only light in the theatre. i hold up a photo of my cat, 10 people applaud, two or three hold up photocopies of the same photo, the rest do nothing, watching, waiting.
I love this description of tumblr.
I am horrified by the amount of YouTube tabs that are open.

Anonymous asked: Gotta question. Hypnosis is a thing of mine too (different anon and a familiar face but on anon TuT) But I am in NO way comfortable expression it /)///(\ How are you so comfortable with it? (love your pics ^^)
Simple: Hypnosis in fiction is not the same as realistic hypnosis.
To elaborate: Hypnosis in real life does not function the same way it tends to do in fiction. In fiction, it’s kind of mind control’s less powerful cousin. Using techno-gadgets instead of the mind.
Hypnotism in real life is mostly about loudly suggesting something. Relaxing the mind and etc. It does not mean you can hypnotize random people to go steal for you. It just means “Hey, relax your mind and maybe consider this suggestion.” AKA: It just puts the idea in your head, but you’re 100% able to deny that thought and go on with your daily life. So, I’m comfortable in that hypnosis in fiction is NOT the same as hypnosis in real life.
also, hypnosis in real life DOES NOT WORK IF THE PERSON BEING HYPNOTIZED DOESN’T WANT TO BE HYPNOTIZED

Raise your hand if you started off as an overachiever and now you’re fighting off crippling anxiety and depression as you watch people catch up and surpass you while you watch your own grades slowly slip
