If you aren’t trans, don’t say what is and isn’t offensive to trans people. Don’t tell me what I should and shouldn’t be offended by. Don’t speak on my behalf, I can speak for myself.
The same could be said for trans people who didn’t find the episode offensive. I’ve gotten told nasty things because I said as a trans person i thought everyone’s reactions were over the top. Other trans people have told me that i should be offended.
“If you aren’t trans, don’t say what is and isn’t offensive to trans people.”
Well let me tell you the reason why I made the post. There were this person who was insisting that a male character in a dress is offensive to the trans community. They were tryuing to convince everyone that. they were arguing not only with me, but many other trans people. The thing was, they weren’t trans and they were trying to tell me, my friends and the rest of the trans community what we should be offended by while at the same time actively arguing with us when we say it’s not offensive.
You and I would be on the same page about any idiot who claimed a man in a dress is transphobic or offensive to trans people; it doesn’t even matter if a specific trans individual finds that offensive - the reality is unless it’s being done with the specific intent to mock transwomen it’s not offensive and those who are offended by it are over sensitive and juvenile.
We are not, however, on the same page when it comes to your misguided opinion that only (insert member of a group here) can talk about (reiterate group) issues. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on social matters, regardless of whether or not those social matters apply to the person or not. You can’t tell people they can’t have an opinion or a voice in matters. Don’t worry, I’ve been guilty of this before as well, but we grow up and we mature and we learn from our mistakes. Everyone has the right to a voice and an opinion or no one does. That’s how equality works.
The point of the post was because the people who found it offensive to trans people werne’t trans and argued with all the trans people who told them it wasn’t offensive. The people were telling us what we should and shouldn’t be offended by while ignoring our voice. We, the trans community, are the ones who should decide whether or not something is offensive to us and when we do speak out that something isn’t offensive to us, the people who aren’t trans should listen.
Remember that one time a non japanese SJW was getting mad at some japanese people for not finding godzilla offensive? THat’s basically what’s going on here.
Here we have an acidic gas that eats away at soft tissue so fast that the nerves don’t even have time to tell the brain that something is wrong. So fast that no blood has a chance to bleed. So strong that even bone will disappear. it’s a good thing that her harness is made of a material that won’t get destroyed by it.

Imagine some white kid in california is trying to convince everyone the movie godzilla is offensive to japanese people.
Nor what if a japanese person comes along and tells the kid to shut up because it’s not offensive.
Logically, the kid should listen to the japanese person and listen to the voice of the people they’re “trying to protect” but instead the kid argues not only with the japanese person but a lot more japanese people who tell the kid it’s not offensive.
That is basically what was happening.
A few people who weren’t trans were trying to tell the trans community what is and isn’t offensive to trans people and when real trans people tried to tell them to stop, they argued. they argued with the people who they were “speaking for”
That is why I am super pissed. Don’t tell me what I should be angry at and don’t tell me I should find something offensive. me and other trans people can speak for ourselves, we DID speak for ourselves and they ignored it.
