People constantly talk about latinas and black women having bad attitudes but I swear I’ve never met someone with a more stank ass tude than white women in their 40’s.

featherinmycapandcheese asked: I'm not sure what you mean when you say it's not transmisogyny because Mac isn't trans. Like, you don't have to be trans to be the target of anti-trans actions. People will bully someone they think is gay. If the person is straight, it's still homophobia, because their fear was that the person is gay. The mistreatment of people in drag and even just wearing more masculine/feminine clothes than normal is based very heavily in transphobia, even though the victim is not necessarily trans.
As I pointed out: It’s not a trans issue.
It’s an issue of shaming femininity.
People don’t quirk a brow and think a girl dressing up boyish makes them trans
But the moment they see a guy dress feminine, holy shit the flood gates open wide and people scramble to insist he’s trans even if he clearly does not identify as a female.
Because otherwise, men dressing as women is ‘weird’.
People doing this harms both the drag community and the trans community because they’re essentially shaming men for dressing/acting like women and will only accept them if they are transwomen. Otherwise, they get tossed in the heap as ‘anti-trans’ because they’re ‘making fun of us’ but that isn’t what drag is and it’s seriously not okay to make claim on what certain genders should wear and act like.
Big Mac wasn’t even mistreated. He was still let into the competition and the only reason he was disqualified was because he destroyed the equipment and was a bad sport.
