I am 98% certain that thatsthat24 is actually a being made up of all the collective innocence teenagers lost when they grew up. Either that or a bunch of dogs in a trench coat.
It’s a little of both.
The innocence of teenage dogs in a trench coat?

tbh the only actual moral choice in fallout 3 is do you or do you not kill harold
everything else is hamhanded BE BIG SCARY OOGABOOGA EVIL or BE AN ULTIMATE SELF-INSERT WISH FULFILLMENT GOD JESUS because the karma system in fo3 is black and white trash written by infants, but the only actual real true moral quandary you’re given is do you mercy kill harold or not

melkyore asked: What are your thoughts on Yooka-Laylee?
I AM EXCITED!
First, I love the art style. Considering it’s by the Banjo-Kazooie team, I think it’ll be pretty good. One of my favorite things about Collect-a-thon games is how varied the levels tend to be. (Banjo Kazooie is a good example, as each level has a unique gimmick, even if they don’t all work.)
They don’t usually have the deepest stories, since they’re more about the journey than the end goal. But that doesn’t make them any less fun. I still return to Spyro from time to time, and I’m slowly getting into Banjo-Kazooie and other Rare Games.
Like Diddy Kong Racing. Which is like a racing version of Collect-a-thons.
fallout 3 is nominally better at creating a better devastated wasteland atmosphere which, if it was matched into the actual fallout timeline a little better, would work amazingly and be a huge net positive.
the thing is that the fallout series has never been post apocalyptic, it’s always been post-post apocalyptic. fallout 3 is the former, the fallout series as a whole is the latter. if fallout 3 had been set thirty, forty years after the nuclear war of 2077 then it’d be bang-on note perfect in terms of general atmosphere and the dysfunctional attempts at civilisation (ignoring the weird fanfictiony enclave/bos elements in the story), but compared to where the core region on the west coast (and to a degree large portions of the midwest is also achieving some form of functional settlement by 2277) is in terms of civilisation and society it’s a jarring blip on the timeline.
p much if fallout 3 had been fixed at a better spot in the timeline and otherwise been completely unchanged then maybe the fallout tag wouldn’t be full of people going ‘i don’t like fallout new vegas because it doesn’t feel like a post apocalypse game’ without realising that they’re entirely right, just not in the way they’re expecting.
