the-golden-summer-rose asked: Okay, if the baby hurts the mother or dies, then yeah, it needs to go, and they should induce labor, rather than abortion, because an abortion scars the uterus and makes conception much, much harder, because a baby can't plant itself on the scarred uterine lining. That's another reason I'm against it, because if they want kids in the future, it's a lot harder. And I am all for same sex adoptions! They are just as good as having a mom and dad, and even better than having just a mom or just a dad.

you can’t induce labor when the fetus is underdeveloped and Pro Lifers made it so you can’t induce labor at all anyways. And whether a woman wants kids or not is her choice. Not yours. And it doesn’t matter if you’re for same sex adoption because a majority of the country apparently isn’t.

This is so important I have to post it.

People who say that being homosexual is against their religion contradict themselves so much because sure, your religion MIGHT teach you that homosexuality is wrong, but I can guarantee you that whatever religion you are, there will be far FAR more teachings in your scripture about treating people with respect etc etc than there will be about homosexuality being ‘wrong.’

I love this

The bible doesn’t even say homosexuality is a sin.
What it means is either “don’t treat a man like a woman because women are lesser” or “don’t sleep with another mans wife in his bed” depending on the translation.
What it DOES say about homosexuality is that jesus blessed a centurion and his male sex slave (who were romantically involved but the sex slave was still a sex slave)

the-golden-summer-rose asked: Okay, here's my stance on that whole body thing. The baby is not her body. It is a separate entity that entirely survives on her taking care of it. And millions of couples try to adopt babies, and they don't get them. That's not their fault, and it's not the fault of the kids. I know all of that about teenage childbirth, and about families pressuring them to keep the baby, but ultimately, it comes down to this. Is sacrificing an innocent life who didn't ask to be alive really an okay thing?

You know who can get children out of hte foster system? All the thousands of same sex couples who want to adopt. Too bad religious nuts who don’t give a damn about basic human rights won’t let them.

And anywho, a fetus is usually aborted when it’s still undeveloped and looks like every other animal fetus in the early stage. The only time more developed fetuses get aborted is when it’s actually killing the mother or it “dies” in the womb. But those are babies that the mothers actually want and planned for. They used to actually induce labor to remove the fetus so that it’s in tact until pro lifers who don’t understand the circumstances were pissed and forced the removal procedure to be changed so they have to snip off the limbs and drag it out. Remember, these were actually planned pregnancies that went wrong and caused health problems with the fetus or the mother and had to be removed.

So it looks like trans women being able to bear children is much closer than I thought

Trans-Uterus speculations

Uterus Transplants have successfully been completed (for cis women) in the last few years:

One (cis) woman has given birth so far from a transplanted uterus

A trans woman has stepped forward to be the first to attempt this proceedure

And finally, science can now grow (cis women) a vagina from their own stem cells

If the transplant people start talking to the stem cell people, this might be viable in my life time!

OH MY GOD! this makes me so happy because i know so many trans women who want to have children :) eeeeee im hoping for everyone who wants this!

I really really hope I will eventually be able to do that.

the-golden-summer-rose asked: I am happy and willing to help non-straight and trans people. You can see that I am pro LGBTQ+ and pro trans on my blog. I'm, in fact, asexual myself, so I am considered non-straight. And I don't want to force families to provide for kids they aren't ready for. I'm all for adoption. I also encourage, for people who don't want their children to grow up in the system, to look for a family before the baby is born. Forcing families isn't what I want. Protecting life is.

Did you know that not everybody can give their child up for adoption due to family pressuring them to keep them? Or that there are thousands of kids who will never be adopted?

Did you know there are long lasting medical conditions that can happen due to underage pregnancy like the mother has a higher chance of dying during childbirth and the child has a higher chance at being stillborn?

Did you know that it’s a womans body and it should be their choice on whether or not they want to keep a baby, not yours. You shouldn’t have a say in what a woman does or doesn’t do with her own body.

so basically when you have your period and your lower back hurts it is because your hips are contracting and spreading apart, only slightly, to make room for the release of the blood and linings of your uterus. so basically your body is going through a small and mild labor to push out the dead insides of your uterus. so basically I have gone through labor and basically I don’t want children.

why aren’t we taught this shit

image

…..this wasn’t obvious to anyone? What did you think your body was doing? Did you think the lining of your uterus just fell out of your vagina? And the cramps were what, for fun?

Considering how practically non-existent sexual education is and the fact some people with uteruses have so little knowledge available and actively shared about their body they don’t know where they pee from or that having large labias is normal, it’s probably safe to say, no, it wasn’t obvious. Nobody thinks you’re hot shit for pissing on people for not knowing something we’re rarely taught in-depth.

I hate it when people get all ‘wow wasn’t this obvious to you guys, you’re pretty dumb’ about shit like this. Shut the fuck up you’re not helping.

This is why we need better sex ed
