A list of the problems with the new dashboard
The search bar is way too big
the logo that refreshes the dash is way too small and hard to click
the rainbow is aggravating and unnecessary
users can no longer just glance to see their activity or follower count
users no longer have quick access to their likes, drafts or other blogs
there is too much empty space
Seriously staff change it back. we always get mad at your dashboard updates because they are unnecessary and you are trying to be edgy and it’s just not working. All your updates are doing is making things more difficult for you users and if you keep it up, people will stop using this sight.
Also, if you actually responded to feedback to at least give a reason as to why you change the things you do, people would be more understanding but as of now it seems like you ignore your userbase which is really not a good marketing strategy.
It’s clear you are going to keep changing things despite you userbases protests so here’s what I propose.
Allow for the option to have the dashboard look like what version they prefered. If people liked the pre 10/30/14 version, then let them do that. if they like the 4/8/2015 let them choose that.
Let people be able to CHOOSE what their dashboard looks like.
Seriously though, look at how much empty space there is.
