this is why Disney is so successful. this is why they are the adored media giant that they are. Walt Disney himself even said that he doesn’t make movies just for children, but for the child in all of us, whether we be six or sixty, and this is still the company’s modus operandi today.
so no, you cannot dismiss criticism of any of these movies on the basis that they are “children’s media”, and that therefore discussions surrounding them are pointless. not a valid argument. get out of my inbox.

Like seriously, why isn’t pole dancing an olympic sport? This is freakin gymnastics. This is strength and skill. This is not sexual whatsoever. Why does pole dancing have to be so stigmatised as a sexual thing that only strippers do? I have great respect for all people who can pull this off. This is art and beauty right here.
HEY FUN FACT: pole dancing is known as something strippers do because strippers invented it. And that’s okay! It’s okay to have respect for strippers and the hard work they put into what they do! Let’s stop trying to take the stripper part out of pole dancing so upperclass white girls can do it without being ~stigmatized~ because god forbid women be sexual.
Seriously, ballet was originally invented by prostitutes, and now look, it’s a fine art with no sexual stigma. Respect art in whatever form it comes.

hey y’all easter is coming and i wanna put out a reminder that if you see a picture of a bunny on their back or in a bath that is ANIMAL CRUELTY that bunny is very scared and the only reason they are sitting still is bc they are STUNNED or IN SHOCK, not relaxed.
When bunnies are relaxed they flop on their side like cats and dogs and other animals.
Bunnies should NEVER get wet!! It causes them to go into shock AND DIE.
Bunny spines are curved and it is very dangerous to put them on their back because of this. They can SNAP THEIR OWN SPINE if they kick while on their back.
Please be aware and don’t reblog animal cruelty!
(i don’t see this anymore but i’ll mention: holding them by their ears is also cruel and very painful for the bunny, and not supporting their bottom can, again, cause them to snap their spine when they kick)

Another thing, bunnies are either wild or pets, not toys. Do not get a bunny from the wild. If you do want a bunny, get one from a pet shop but keep in mind that it IS a PET and you WILL need to care for it for YEARS. Don’t abandon it once easter is yesterdays news.
