Sure, it’s just a coloring book….of anatomical illustrations. They cant be that hard to make…. what of it?
The exploitation of artists in science is HUGE problem.In the past 15 years, underpayment and non-payment for commercial work has single-handedly destroyed the paleo-art as a field. The artists responsible for the iconic dinosaur illustrations of your childhood now struggle to make ends meet. Many of them cant even make it to conferences anymore because they don’t have the funds.
Museums, as an institution have increasingly come to expect more and more of artists for less and less.Now it’s come to this…. For the first time, a museum, an institution for educating the public, PUBLICLY expects artists to work for free on products they will be selling for profit.
This is absolutely shameful. What does this say to the public?
DO NOT LET THEM SET A PRECEDENT OF EXPLOITING ARTISTS IN SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATION.

I think it’s really fucked up how so many teenagers are alone and sad and having panic attacks in their room while their parents watch TV, and how a lot of those teenagers have had relatively normal childhoods, yet there’s this huge boom of depression and mental disorders, and its just dumb how we’ve turned into a generation labeled ‘reckless’ but really, we’re only reckless with ourselves

But the bright side is that when some of these “reckless” teenagers become adults and have children, they will have a better understanding of what problems youths face and more open to listen and support their children.

To be fair, it is a show that has a completely different tone and purpose than the source material, meant for comedy, and has episodes that only last fifteen minutes. It’s like comparing Haruhi-chan to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Same characters, but one of the shows is much more light in tone and focuses on humor instead of character development and drama. It’s not a bad thing.

That could be said of a lot of cartoons. They brought back Looney Toons with The Looney Toons Show, and they’ve brought back Tom & Jerry innumerable times. And the former is definitely out of character when put in comparison with its original incarnations. I actually enjoy Teen Titans Go. It’s a good show to turn your brain off to.
