night at the museum is a franchise I wouldn’t have gotten sick of. they could have tried shoving 8 sequels and an animated series down my throat and I would have ate that shit up
the main cast is a night guard, an egyptian pharoah, sacagewea, teddy roosevelt, genghis khan, a miniature cowboy and roman ruler duo, a capuchin monkey, and a moai rock for godsake!!!!!!!!
in the second movie there was a scene where al capone ivan the terrible napoleon an egyptian and darth vader and oscar the grouch interact. ben stiller walks into a painting. the abraham lincoln memorial comes to life. the lil roman rides a squirrel into battle. the thinker is a fuck boy. like holy shit holy SHIT!!
this screenshot ALONE should make these movies worth your time
Yo we know that duo was gay as all hell tho
it took me a second to realize you were referring to the cowboy & roman and not oscar the grouch and darth vader

dislike when ppl say to children things like “wait until you live in the real world” or “welcome to the real world” when something makes them unhappy or bad things happen to them. children are people. they live in the same world you do, and their experiences and reactions to their experiences are just as real as your own. comfort them instead of dismissing them
anyway children are real people and should be treated as such

crime shows are like “this character is being obnoxious and causing problems by not letting police enter somewhere without a warrant, you know, like what the law says” and everyone just lets them
crime shows are like “this cop only feels bad about murdering a suspect after discovering that they were actually innocent, implying that the murder would have been okay if the person had really been guilty” and everyone just lets them
Crime shows are like “this suspect asks for a lawyer (making them seem guilty) after being harassed and beaten by the police but oh wait plot twist OF COURSE they were the criminal the whole time which makes it all okay actually” and everyone just lets them
LITERALLY and then crime shows are like “asking for a lawyer or demanding police come back with a warrant is an obvious sign of guilt instead of yknow just being your basic rights as a person” and then everyone just Believes them
crim shows are like “I just know this person is guilty because of a gut feeling” and everyone just lets the cops act on their own personal biases without any consequence on the cops part because somehow the person ended up being guilty

You’re the town’s superhero. Your greatest enemy is the town’s supervillian. However, secretly, your both brothers. This isn’t anything tragic, as your whole destructive rivalry is actually just a massive prank on your third brother, the mayor.
finally, a realistic sibling relationship in the media
id watch this movie if the mcelroys played the characters but the real question is, which brother is the hero, which is the villain and which is the mayor?

I just can’t win.
Since I’m basically the courts cashier, I have to people everyday I’m to the point where I’m like “If I have to go to work without my mask I will instantly lose my job” not from being mad about Covid (tho that would be part of it) but from the fact that I talk under my breath about every decision every person makes who come to my window and cannot control my mouth from making expressions anymore. XD
The mask is saving me from. So many Problems TM.
The mask successfully masks the fact that I am having many more emotions on my face than I used to. Having now been freed to have facial expressions, I am not sure that I will ever again be able to gaze with neutrality upon someone who is anti-vaxx for their dog or wants to feed a vegan diet to their cat. I have face journeys now. I don’t know that I can unlearn this, and nor do I want to.
