Thank you tumblr for emailing me that someone reblogged a question I asked a more famous blogger. I absolutely needed to know that.
My hands are shaking and there is adrenaline in my veins. I entered the last level of DK64 and had to shut down the death ray within the time limit by first finding it,opening a bunch of doors by flying through hoops and then knocking down gates and then doing two minigames for each person, 10 minigames total. I managed to shut down the death ray with only 1:03 to spare. Why can’t games be hard and satisfying like they used to? Why can’t there be another DK game like DK64?
I am honestly going to post this everyday.
Spread awareness people.

I mean, I realize that sometimes followers lose interest in a blog/don’t like the style or whatever, and unfollowing then is justifiable! But when you unfollow because the mod puts up ONE SINGLE OOC TEXT POST it’s REALLY discouraging. It’s further discouraging when I’ve personally witnessed a goddamn mod drop a suicide threat and they lost 20-some followers because they were going through a crisis. It’s crazy wrong how that is! I’ve also seen followers bash artists who change their styles(and actually like it), send rude remarks, and be otherwise ungrateful pigs when we don’t get updates/art done. Having to worry about pleasing the ever so finicky followers puts a lot of pressure on mods and, frankly, I don’t blame a lot of them for being so grumpy and unapproachable.

I wonder what life is like for people with exact skills. Exact goals. People who are good at one thing, love doing that thing, and never grow tired of doing that thing. Who are content to do that thing for the rest of their life.
I can’t keep doing art forever, because I don’t enjoy it enough not to get frustrated with my lack of skill.
I can’t keep doing cooking forever, because remembering my mentor and boss hurts too much.
I can’t keep doing boxing forever, because eventually I’ll be injured too badly to continue.
Sometimes I just feel useless. Aimless. Dead in the water.
Just keep doing what you enjoy until you can’t anymore and then look for something else you enjoy.
