Let’s talk Avatar!

So whenever people are asked who their favourite character is, they usually say Toph. Makes sense, she’s rowdy and makes jokes about her own disability turned strength and yeah, she is a strong character.

But she is not my favourite.

Iroh is. From the start, it’s clear that he’s not really a bad guy, more of a neutral. More of a voice of reason. And as you get to know more about his backstory, it becomes clear why he does this. He’s not a silly joke telling elder, he’s a tired old man who is trying to help his nephew to the correct path. He sees beyond nationality, he sees beyond what the firenation believe. He fought for the city he once tried to conquer. And even on his dead sons birthday, he finds a way to help out the lives of people around him. He even finds a way to forgive his nephew who betrayed him. He is, in my opinion, the best character in avatar.

Crows are scary
They
use tools
Can be taught to speak (like parrots)
Have huge brains for birds
like seriously their brain-to-body size ratio is equal to that of a chimpanzee
They vocalize anger, sadness, or happiness in response to things
they are scary smart at solving puzzles
some ravens stay with their mates until one of them dies
they can remember faces
SIDENOTE HERE BECAUSE HOLY SHIT. They did an experiment where these guys wore masks and some of them fucked with crows. Pretty soon the crows recognized the masks = douchebag. But the nice guys with masks they left alone. THEN, OH WE’RE NOT DONE, NO SIR crows that WEREN’T EVEN IN THE EXPERIMENT AND NEVER SAW THE MASK BEFORE knew about mask-dudes and attacked them on sight. THEY PASSED ON THE FUCKING INFORMATION TO THEIR CROW BUDDIES.
They remember places where crows were killed by farmers and change their migration patterns.
Guys I’m really scared of crows now.

Don’t be scared of crows, be nice to them. They remember you and if you are nice to them they will be your best bro. And then soon, you will have a murder of crows at your disposal and can totally use them to rob banks by getting them to fly in front of the cameras and disable the guards and shit and become the very first super villain.
